19 WINTER 2016 NEWS Meet the international trade team Liverpool and Sefton Chamber has a small but highly motivated and effective team to help companies of all sizes to increase their export activity in an effective way. With experience across different industries and sectors, we are well equipped to understand our members and to help them to succeed in the international arena. Andy Snell joined the Chamber in 2013 as Director of International Trade & Commercial Services. He has responsibility for delivering export support, international and commercial services to our customers, bringing the global chamber network to the UK for the International Festival for Business and promoting important international events that come to the city. Away from work Andy loves watching live sport whenever he gets the opportunity and is trying to improve his golf! For Export Documentation: Sarah Woolley has over 20 years experience with the Chamber, and now manages the Documentation Department. Her focus is on ATA carnets. Outside work Sarah enjoys a good book or a “mystery film”, arts and crafts and socialising with friends. Heather Whitaker joined us in 2015 as an Export Documentation Analyst, with experience of working with several international companies, her focus is on Certificates of Origin. Away from work Heather loves travelling and spending time with her family, she loves good food and drink. Amanda Davidson is our newest member of the international trade team and she focuses on EUR1 documents. Amanda previously worked in a senior capacity at American Airlines. Outside work Amanda enjoys live music and is passionate about art deco. For International Trade Training and Events: Elena Enciso joined the Chamber as a graduate and has worked on many different projects within the International Department to support exporting activity in the region. Her work is focused in international events and international trade training. Elena was been given the “Honorary Scouser Award” by Lord Mayor Steve Rotheram in April 2009. She loves travelling when she can. Jessica Zhang works since 2006 for China Britain Business Council but joined the Chamber team in 2013 and has a hot desk 3 days a week for these difficult questions related to trade with China. Her experience ranges from energy projects in China, Higher education institutes in the UK and working as researcher. Away from work Jessica loves spending time with her young family. For EU grant assistance to grow your international business: Ian Bulmer joined the Chamber in 2000 as a graduate. He has progressed to manage many of our public sector contracts. He is responsible for delivering two major current projects and sourcing new opportunities. Out of the office Ian enjoys sports such as squash and football in particular (also a red) and trying new restaurants and cuisines. Julie Sankey joined the team in 2014 as International Trade Executive, previous to this she worked for a food export business Jullie is responsible for the administration of ERDF funding to SMEs in the region. Julie loves travelling, running, fell walking and entertaining friends at weekends.
